Walk-up is whatever is still on the table — potatoes in bags, peppers by the each, unwashed eggs, honey, soap. Reserved boxes are packed with your name on them. Prices are the chalkboard. If it is gone on the harvest board, it is gone here too.
We do not ship. Flavor and turgor die in a box on a truck, and the diesel is not worth it for a ½ bushel.

About delivery
We've had people ask, and we're looking at it. For now the box stays at the stand. It already had a commute this morning, from field to stand.
If a drop would actually change whether you order, mention it when you pick up. That's how we'll know.

We're a family on six acres in Elkhorn / Lafayette. We farmstead, we homeschool, and we try to work with nature instead of against it. The market garden is one piece. The rest is animals, grass, and the slow work of putting biology back in the dirt. We grow it for you. Chemical-free by practice, not by a sticker.
The mission is simple, and it is not a slogan we printed: give more than we take. From the soil, from the paddock, from the people who stop at the stand. Leave it better than we found it. If we can't, we don't plant it that way.
Goats, sheep, chickens, turkeys, pigs, quail, rabbits. They are how we heal the soil, not a sideshow. We move them so a paddock eats, rests, and comes back, and we hay our own fields to feed them. Grass leaves, comes home as hay, goes through an animal, and returns as life in the dirt. The field feeds the animal. The animal feeds the field. We try not to get in the way.
Compost here is not fertilizer. We are not pouring feed on a plant. We are waking up the biology already in the soil — a biostimulant, a spark for the fungi and bacteria that actually feed a crop. When a bed is empty we cover it. We rotate families so the same plant does not sit in the same dirt and invite the same trouble. Healthy soil grows a plant that can take care of itself. We do not spray.
Community is the other crop. We like the gardenside conversations — the ones that start with a tomato and end with why the dirt looks like that. If you want to know what we do and why we do it, ask. We'll talk. The field notes are there when a row actually taught us something.
